The Autumn Exhibition at Oslo S

For the second consecutive year, The Autumn Exhibition was given the opportunity to use the façade of the Oslo S.

In 2004, the jury chose to present parts of Ellen S. Holtskog’s work “Bønneboken“ (The Book of Prayers) on the façade of Oslo S. The following text was presented on the façade: ”Frels kjære Jesus den damen på bussholdeplassen som snakket med meg, du kjenner henne, Herre.” (Dear Jesus, save this woman on the bus stop who talked to me, you know her, Lord.). The text was taken from a small book of prayers left by an old woman. The work was shown in its entirety at Kunstnernes Hus.

The collaboration between The Autumn Exhibition and Rom for kunst på Oslo S was established in 2003. The Høstutstillingen thus extended its venue for exhibition with a satellite in Norway’s best visited building.
