Rom for kunst (Space for Art), is a public art initiative run by Bane NOR Eiendom at Oslo Central Station. More than 100 art projects have been exhibited in the period 2001-2020.
The intention with Rom for kunst is to create positive art experiences for the many visitors to Oslo Central Station. Kulturbyrået Mesén is curator, producer and project manager for the initiative.
The aim of the initiative is to use the station area in new ways by presenting temporary site-specific art projects that have a dialogue with a broad audience.
